Manuel Plaza is a Spanish strength and conditioning coach with experience in professional football, youth development, and international academy environments. He holds a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and a Master’s in High Performance from the Spanish Olympic Committee.

He has worked with Deportivo Alavés in LaLiga, supporting U19 high-performance work and injury rehabilitation within professional teams. He also served as Head of Strength and Conditioning at Unión Deportiva Santa Marta and worked with their 3ª RFEF team for three seasons.

Internationally, Manuel was Director of Strength and Conditioning and Women’s Program Director at Juventus Academy Houston, where he also helped lead his team to a runner-up finish at the Juventus World Cup in Italy.

His methodology combines physical development, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and tactical understanding to prepare players for the demands of modern football.

Graduate in Sports Science from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, with a Master’s in Football Performance and eight years of experience coaching youth players across multiple age groups. Holds a Level 1 coaching license and brings a deep passion for football developed through years of playing at the regional level.

He began his professional career as a Data Scientist, gaining valuable experience in analytical and data-driven environments, before transitioning into his current role as a Mathematics teacher. In this position, he combines strong analytical skills with a deep commitment to education and the academic development of his students.
